4.5226 Gangsters

- Some time ago, I came across a neat MP3 file. Eventually, it was the Four Gangsters from Cat City, but it doesn't matter now. Its size was 7,990,971 bytes. Unsuspectingly, I opened it with the miracle called Winamp version 5.31, and received the above consistent set of information. After a little bit of fast forward, consistency increased:

- Time invariant behaviour rules! I checked the „truth” among the file's properties:

- Comparing the various durations and bitrates, we can get to the conclusion: MP3-s encoded with variable bitrate are handled poorly by current software.
