- Tamás Beischer-Matyó, my brilliant music theory teacher, gave us the homework to compose a piece in any style on a specific chord progression. I thought Bartók's style would be appropriate, and this little movement for four hands was born. It even contains an excerpt from Beischer-Matyó's Little Christmas Song and several Hungarian folk melodies.
